UPDATES
Week 8: Jacobs and Nittany Lions fans thought the OLB had the play of the day when he both forced a Kyle McCord fumble then picked up the loose ball and rumbled 59 yards for a TD to give his team an apparent 10-3 second-quarter lead. However, holding call wiped out the play and sent the Buckeyes on a TD drive and eventually a 20-12 win. Jacobs still had a productive day as he was in on nine tackles and anchored a defense that limited Ohio State's ground game to 79 yards. — JH
Week 7: Jacobs played just 23 total snaps as Penn State warmed up for next week's showdown with Ohio State by pounding UMass, 63-0. The OLB did register a pressure and was in on two tackles. — JH
Week 6: DNP — Penn State had its bye.
Week 5: Penn State stayed undefeated by thumping Northwestern 41-13 and, as it has all season, the win was dictated by another strong performance by the defense. Jacobs was in on a couple of tackles, though he did miss one tackle. He was also credited with one QB pressure. Jacobs was not targeted in pass coverage. — JH
Week 4: A solid day for Jacobs who, in 23 total snaps, was in on three tackles (two solo) and helped anchor a Penn State defense that completely throttled the Hawkeyes to the tune of just 76 total yards. The linebacker was targeted once in coverage but did not allow a completion. — JH
Week 3: The Penn State LB logged 50 snaps in the Nittany Lions 30-13 win over Illinois. He was credited with four tackles and one QB pressure. In coverage, he was targeted twice, allowing receptions on both but limited the catches to seven yards total. — JH
Week 2: Jacobs played on 20 snaps, recording a sack and another QB pressure as Penn State blasted Delaware 63-7. The outside 'backer did not register a tackle or an assist in either run defense or pass coverage. — JH
Week 1: Jacobs played 48 snaps in Penn State's season-opening 30-3 win over West Virginia. The outside LB tallied five tackles, a sack and one QB hurry. — JH
Week 0: DNP
