When inserted into the lineup during the last two years, King has given the Commodores solid play. For the first time since he joined the team, King enters preseason with a starting job in front of him, due to the graduation of All-SEC tackle Justin Geisinger. King will compete with sophomore Chris Williams for the job.

Started at left offensive tackle for two years

Team went to playoffs during junior and senior seasons

Helped teammate rush for more than 1,000 yards during senior campaign

Nominated to play in the Ohio East-West all-star game

All-Greater Miami Conference academic team

Also played basketball as sophomore.

Grew up a fan of Cincinnati Reds and Bengals

Enjoys bowling, fishing and softball. King is majoring in Human and Organizational Development. He is a 2003 SEC Academic Honor Roll recipient.
