Chris Carter

WR · California-Davis
The 2009 Great West Conference Offensive Player of the Year didn't have huge statistics in his senior year, making 85 receptions that only covered 889 yards and four scores. But with teammate Bakari Grant playing the deep threat role and his quarterback not being very accurate, Carter didn't get many chances to stretch the field. He had two others productive years at UC Davis, making 54 receptions for 703 yards and five scores as a redshirt freshman in 2006 and accumulating 69-768-5 in a first-team All-Great West junior year. He played only three games in 2007 due to a leg injury, catching five passes for 74 yards and a touchdown. Carter's build, agility and quickness make him a perfect candidate to be a slot receiver. Though he didn't have great success as a kickoff returner (17.7 yard average) in limited opportunities at UC Davis, he'll get a chance to contribute there as a mid-to-late round pick.
