earned Class 4A all-state mention as a defensive back and return specialist at El Campo High School
earned second-team all-state honors as a defensive back as a senior after grabbing seven interceptions while helping El Campo to a 9-4 record
also contributed 18 catches for 368 yards and two touchdowns as a senior
as a junior, Brown received honorable mention all-state honors as a return specialist
contributed five interceptions (two returned for touchdowns) on defense and 22 catches for 343 yards on offense while helping El Campo to an 11-3 record and the Div. II quarterfinals
was a three-time all-district selection at wide receiver and defensive back
consensus Texas Top 100 prospect and a member of Dave Campbells Texas Football Magazines Super Team
coached by Bob Gillis
also a standout in track and field, Brown posted third place finishes in the triple jump (47-3) and 4x200 relay (1:27.98) and was fourth in the high jump (6-8) at the 2005 Class 4A state track and field meet.
