The first-team all-District 21-5A selection, also contributed four forced fumbles and recovered two fumbles for the Bruins
As a junior running back, Chavis earned first-team all-district honors after rushing for 995 yards and nine scores and had 26 catches for 262 yards and three touchdowns. Chavis also received all-district mention at wide receiver
As a sophomore quarterback, Chavis received honorable mention all-district honors after passing for 900 yards, rushing for 700 yards and scoring 15 total touchdowns.
