Named to the Daily Herald Northwest Suburban All-Area team and received IHSA All-State honorable mention honors as a senior. Selected to play in the IHSA Coaches' All-Star game. Team captain and MVP earned all-conference and all-area honors during his junior and senior seasons. Named the Daily Herald's Mid-Suburban East Co-Defensive Player of the Year after recording 78 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and seven sacks during his senior season. Was a three-year starter for the Bison, playing on the defensive line, offensive line, at fullback and as a tight end. Also competed in track and field.
