The younger brother of Jake Matthews, a first rounder in 2014 to the Atlanta Falcons, Mike is the latest member of the Matthews family tree positioned to transition to the NFL.
while not as highly touted as his older brother, matthews has "more energy" according to his teammates, although they are very similar in regards to mechanics, paying close attention to the fundamentals of the position.
IN OUR VIEW
he has started 23 games the past two seasons and enters his senior season as one of the top five senior nfl prospects at the center position.
