Jake Butt

TE · Michigan
A four-year starter, including the past two seasons in Jim Harbaugh's pro-style scheme, Butt was used all over the formation for the Wolverines and although he wasn't the centerpiece, he was Mr. Reliable as a blocker and receiver. A very savvy receiving option, he sets up defenders and makes himself available in his routes, showing the ability to track, adjust and finish over defenders at the catch point. As a blocker, Butt isn't overpowering and has some hiccups in space, but he is steady in this area. While there is very little flash to his game, he is very well-rounded with all the tools to start as a rookie and earn a NFL paycheck for the next decade.
