Corey Clement

While Melvin Gordon loudly rushed for 2,587 yards in 2014, Clement quietly produced 949 rushing yards himself, averaging 6.5 yards per carry as a sophomore backup, including four 100-yard performances. With Gordon now in the NFL, Clement moves up to the No. 1 spot on the running back depth chart and is arguably the second-best running back prospect in the Big Ten behind only Ezekiel Elliott.

clement has a similar body type as melvin gordon with the agile feet and balance to make quick cuts and accelerate away from defenders. he sees the field well to follow blocks with patience, but also has decisive toughness to attack the second level with a head of steam.

He doesn't have quite the same twitchy athleticism as Gordon, but there shouldn't be much of a drop off in Madison this season in the run game as Clement is a worthy successor to the 2015 first rounder.
