Phil Steele honors 12 Blue Raiders

The Blue Raiders had six first team selections, four second team picks, and one each on the third and fourth teams. Offensive players Frank Peasant (RB) and DJ England-Chisolm (WR) were put on the first team unit while Marley Cook (DT), Teldrick Ross (CB) and Tra Fluellen (S) made it from the defensive side. Long snapper Brody Butler was also a first team selection. In 2022, Butler was a first team all-league member while Ross was a second team pick. Peasant, Cook, and Fluellen were all honorable mention All-C-USA members. Second team honors went to Keylan Rutledge (OL), Zaylin Wood (DE), Devyn Curtis (LB) and Zeke Rankin (PK). Sterling Porcher (OL) was placed on the third team while Jordan Branch made the fourth team. The Blue Raiders report to camp on August 1 in preparation for the season opener at Alabama on Sept. 2.
