Dakoda Fields, 4-star cornerback, flips from USC to Oregon Ducks

Oregon has flipped a blue chip, top-100 prospect from USC.
Dakoda Fields, a four-star cornerback out of Gardena, California, flipped from USC to the Ducks on Monday. He originally committed to the Trojans on June 5 and attended UO’s Saturday Night Live camp on July 29.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Fields is ranked No. 83 overall and No. 9 among cornerback in the class of 2024, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Fields is the 22nd commitment to Oregon’s 2024 recruiting class, which moved up to No. 9 from No. 13 in the 247Sports Composite.
He joins commits cornerback Ify Obidegwu, tight ends A.J. Pugliano and Jackson Ford, quarterbacks Luke Moga and Michael Van Buren, offensive linemen Fox Crader, Trent Ferguson, Devin Brooks and JacQawn McRoy, receivers Jordan Anderson, Dillon Gresham and Jack Ressler, edge defender Jaxson Jones, safeties Aaron Flowers and Kingston Lopa, defensive linemen Tionne Gray and Xadavien Sims, kicker Gage Hurych, running back Da’Jaun Riggs and linebackers Dylan Williams and Kamar Mothudi.
