Led TCU to its first College Football Playoff appearance and trip to the CFP National Championship after a 51-45 semifinal win over Michigan at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl ... totaled 282 yards of offense (225 passing, 57 rushing) and four touchdowns (two passing, two rushing) in the victory over the Wolverines ... his 32 touchdown passes on the season were one off the TCU record (33, Trevone Boykin, 2014) ... his 73 career scoring tosses also trailed only Boykin (86, 2012-15) in TCU history ... responsible for 41 touchdowns (32 passing, 9 rushing) on the season, second-most at TCU (Boykin 42, 2014) ... closed his career third all-time at TCU with 9,618 passing yards ... his 28 career rushing touchdows tie for sixth in TCU history ... made 14 starts as a senior to close his career with 43 career starts ... keyed TCU’s furious fourth-quarter comeback against Kansas State in the Big 12 Championship Game, leading a pair of scoring drives to force overtime after an 11-point deficit in the final 7:34 ... became the first player with 250 yards passing and 100 rushing in a conference championship game since Clemson’s Deshaun Watson in 2015 ... because of a TCU penalty, he rushed for 95 yards on the game-tying 80-yard drive ... had a 19-yard run on a 4th-and-2 and a 40-yard gain to set up his 8-yard scoring run on the next snap, before completing a pass to Jared Wiley for the 2-point conversion ... in the 29-28 win at Baylor, he led TCU on fourth-quarter scoring drives on its final two possessions without its leading rusher (Kendre Miller) and top-two receivers (Quentin Johnston, Derius Davis) ... the game-winning drive also came with TCU not having any timeouts available ... completed 7-of-9 passes for 83 yards with four carries for 33 yards on the final two series ... totaled 377 yards and two touchdowns in the game ... had his fifth 300-yard passing effort (327) while rushing for a team-best 50 yards ... with a 73-yard touchdown pass to Taye Barber and a 67-yard scoring run just 1:18 apart against Oklahoma, he became just the second player nationally in the last 15 years and first since Lamar Jackson in 2016 with a touchdown pass and TD run of at least 60 yards in the first quarter of a game ... completed 23-of-33 passes for 302 yards and three touchdowns while adding 116 yards rushing on five carries in the 55-24 rout of the Sooners ... had 15 total TDs and one interception in TCU’s four straight October wins over ranked opponents ... accounted for three or more touchdowns in nine games on the season ... totaled 17 touchdown passes of at least 20 yards.

Battled through injury to start all 10 games he played ... had a career-best 63.9 completion percentage ... closed the season ranked fifth on TCU's career passing yards list with 5,920 ... posted career-best totals of 346 yards passing, four touchdown passes and 391 yards of offense at Oklahoma ... completed 20-of-30 attempts with no interceptions ... became the first Horned Frog to throw for four touchdowns in a game since Kenny Hill, his position coach, had five scoring passes against Kansas in 2017 ... added 45 yards rushing on eight carries against the Sooners ... tied a then career high with three touchdown passes in consecutive games against Cal and SMU ... passed for 234 yards versus the Golden Bears while rushing for 71 yards on 19 carries, including a 9-yard fourth quarter touchdown in the 34-32 win ... after missing two games due to injury, he returned to action against Kansas and completed 10-of-16 passes for 166 yards while rushing for a season-best 74 yards on 14 carries, including a 1-yard touchdown on a 4th-and-goal play in the 31-28 victory ... also had a season long 42-yard carry in the game ... placed fourth on TCU with 352 yards rushing on the year ... closed the season with a pair of touchdown passes at Iowa State.

2020 | SOPHOMORE
Started nine of 10 games ... entered the season opener against Iowa State at the start of the second half and posted the fifth-best single-game completion percentage (84.2) in TCU history by connecting on 16-of-19 passes for 241 yards and three touchdowns in two quarters ... the three scoring tosses tied a career high ... ran for 526 yards on the season to make him the first quarterback to lead TCU in rushing since Gil Bartosh in 1950 (710 yards) ... also topped the Horned Frogs with 10 rushing touchdowns, the most by a TCU quarterback since Kenny Hill had 10 in 2016 ... became the first TCU quarterback with multiple 100-yard rushing games in a season in the 20-year Gary Patterson head coaching era ... his three career 100-yard rushing performances tie the TCU quarterback record (Trevone Boykin, 2012-15) ... led TCU in rushing in three games ... rushed for a career-high and team-best 154 yards and three touchdowns versus Texas Tech ... the 154 yards were the fourth most in a game by a quarterback in TCU history ... had scoring runs of 81, 3 and 48 yards ... the 81-yard touchdown run against Texas Tech was the longest by a quarterback in TCU history and tied for 10th-longest overall ... became the first Horned Frog with three rushing touchdowns in a game since Darius Anderson in a 44-31 win at No. 6 Oklahoma State in 2017 ... his 369 yards of total offense (265 passing, 104 rushing) in a 29-22 win over No. 15 Oklahoma State marked the second-best game of his career ... ran for touchdowns of 1 and 42 yards against the Cowboys ... the three-longest completions of his career came in the final two games with 76- and 71-yard touchdown passes to Quentin Johnston and Derius Davis against Louisiana Tech and Oklahoma State, respectively, as well as a 58-yard connection to Johnston versus OSU ... the 76-yard touchdown pass to Johnston was TCU’s longest since the 2017 Alamo Bowl, when Kenny Hill hit Jalen Reagor on a 93-yard strike ... tied a career high with three touchdown passes at Kansas with those scoring tosses being his only completions in the 59-23 victory ... also added a 58-yard touchdown run as part of three carries for 61 yards against the Jayhawks ... completed 20-of-30 passes for 231 yards while adding a team-best 79 yards rushing and two touchdowns on the ground in a 33-31 win at No. 9 Texas ... his 26-yard touchdown run with 4:01 to play provided the go-ahead score in the victory in Austin ... completed 10-of-13 passes (76.9 percent) for 160 yards against Louisiana Tech while also topping 70 percent (71.4) by connecting on 25-of-35 attempts for 276 yards and a touchdown versus Oklahoma.

2019 | FRESHMAN
