Positives...Coachable team player with good functional strength...Effective in gaining leverage coming off the snap...Delivers a strong hand punch to generate movement coming out of his stance...Maintains position, using his leg drive to wall off and screen the defensive tackles...Has the ability to trap and gain control on linebackers moving upfield...Keeps his leg base wide, showing lateral agility in his slide...Uses his hands properly to lock on and extends his arms to get right into the defender's chest...Has the agility and quickness to mirror the rusher's inside moves in the short area. Negatives...Does not show explosion coming off the ball...Keeps his feet too narrow at times, especially when moving upfield...Shows aggression in his blocks, but when moving out of the short area, he will frequently over-extend, knocking himself off stride...Has to show more consistency as a finisher, as he sometimes slides off his blocks too quickly, failing to pick up the opponent's redirection...Has poor timed speed, but shows the foot agility to compensate.
