Week 4: Sumac played 81 snaps in the Spartans' 31-9 loss to Maryland. He had a solid day run-blocking, as Michigan State rushed for 102 yards as a team. The center struggled more in pass protection, allowing two QB pressures. — JH

Week 3: A rough game for Samac, his offensive linemates, and Michigan State as a whole as Washington crushed the host Spartans, 41-7. The center again did not allow a QB pressure, but the Spartans rushed for just 53 yards and struggled at times to sustain drives (6-of-16 on third downs). — JH

Week 2: Another strong day in pass protection for Samac, who didn't allow a pressure, in the Spartans 45-14 win over Richmond. His run-blocking helped Spartan RB Nathan Carter get 111 yards on the ground. — JH
