positives
Has adequate upper body muscle development...Shows good foot agility driving away from the center and the ability to reach and set his feet properly before unleashing the ball...Gets good velocity behind his tosses and has the arm strength to throw deep...Makes proper field judgment calls, rarely forcing the ball into traffic...Very composed standing in the pocket, but displays quickness and acceleration to gain yardage when flushed out...Shows good accuracy and touch in the short and intermediate zones...Has the vision to protect his backside from oncoming pass rushers.
negatives
Has a bit of a windup before releasing his passes...Needs to secure the ball better before running upfield...Will overthrow at times when forced to get rid of the ball on his deep tosses, appearing more suited to connect with his targets while standing in the pocket...Tends to lose accuracy when throwing on the move...While he has good foot speed, he lacks that second gear to consistently escape pressure.
