Week 7: In a defensive struggle against Wisconsin, with Iowa winning 15-6 on the road, Taylor punted a season-high 10 times, averaging 50.4 yards per kick, his second-best average of the season. Seven times his punts reached inside the Badgers' 20-yard line. He had a net of 47.3 yards per punt on the day. His 4.18-second average hangtime was his second-highest of 2023. — JH
Week 6: In Iowa's 20-14 win over visiting Purdue, Taylor averaged 47.3 yards on six punts. He downed two inside the Purdue 20. Iowa's coverage team, however, wasn't as sound as it has been in recent games. It allowed three returns fo 53 yards (17.7 average), giving Taylor a net of 38.5, his second-lowest of the season. — JH
Week 5: Taylor again punted seven times, averaging 48.9 yards, as Iowa topped Michigan State 26-16. He pinned one punt inside the Spartans' 20 and forced fair catches on three other efforts. Michigan State returned two of Taylor's kicks for a total of 16 yards, giving him a net average on the day of 46.6 yards. — JH
Week 4: On a day chock full with three-and-outs for the Iowa offense, Taylor got in a lot of work, punting seven times for a booming 52.3 average. Despite the long punts, Taylor didn't outkick his coverage, as Penn State returners totaled only four yards on three returns (for an impressive net of 51.7). Taylor also downed two of his punts inside the Penn State 20-yard line. — JH
Week 3: Taylor averaged a season-low 41.8 yards per punt (36.8 yards net) in Iowa's 41-10 win over Western Michigan, even though he had a season-long 55-yard effort and his average hang-time was a season-best 4.2 seconds. Taylor did drop two punts inside the Western Michigan 20 and none of his four punts was returned. — JH
Week 2: In Iowa's 20-13 win over Iowa State, Taylor averaged 46.3 yards, with a net of 47.0 yards per punt — an interesting state in that his hang-time per punt was under four seconds. — JH
Week 1: Taylor punted six times against Utah State, averaging 48.7 yards per punt (with a net of 45.0). Iowa defeated the Aggies 24-14. The punter had a long of 53 yardes and placed three of his kicks inside the Utah State 20-yard line. — JH
