2019: Played in all 14 games as an outside linebacker and made his first career start as part of a nickel look at Troy … Third-down staple was second on the team with 5.5 sacks, including one in which he forced a fumble that teammate Trey Cobb returned 24 yards for a tiebreaking touchdown in the third quarter of the New Orleans Bowl win … Tied for the team lead with eight QB hurries … Finished the season with 24 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles … Also forced a fumble on a fourth-quarter sack for an 8-yard loss at South Carolina and forced a holding penalty, backing the ball up from the App State 9 to the 19, on the next-to-last play of the 20-15 win in Columbia … Had 1.5 sacks against Charlotte, one sack at Troy, half a sack against ULM and half a sack against ETSU … Made a career-high eight tackles at Troy, where he had a career-high 2.0 tackles for loss.
