2022 SEASON (SENIOR): Started the first eight games of the season, with six starts at defensive end and two at linebacker . . . played a total of 455 snaps on defense and appeared on 65 special teams plays . . . led the FBS with six forced fumbles, which ranked tied for second most in an MSU season . . . led the team with 10.5 tackles for loss (46 yards) and 5.5 sacks (31 yards) . . . tallied 49 tackles with one interception, one fumble recovery and two pass break-ups . . . ranked tied for second on the team with a total of 17 QB pressures, according to Pro Football Focus . . . became the first Spartan and just the sixth player in Big Ten history to earn Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week accolades three times in one season (Week 1 vs. Western Michigan; Week 2 vs. Akron; Week 7 vs. Wisconsin) . . . also named National Defensive Player of the Week twice (Walter Camp Football Foundation and Senior Bowl vs. Western Michigan; FWAA Bronko Nagurski vs. Wisconsin) . . . became the first Spartan defensive player and the fifth Spartan overall to earn Big Ten Player of the Week honors in back-to-back weeks (vs. Western Michigan and Akron), joining K Paul Edinger in 1998; QB Drew Stanton in 2005; RB Javon Ringer in 2008 and K Brett Swenson in 2008 . . . started the first six games at defensive end, before shifting back to linebacker for games seven and eight . . . started Michigan contest at linebacker for the second straight game starting at there after previous six at defensive end, logging 12 tackles, the most during his time as a Spartan and tied for second-most of his collegiate career . . . made first start of season at linebacker in Wisconsin game and recorded a then-season-best 11 tackles, including two for losses (6 yards), and caused both of the Wisconsin turnovers – picked off first career pass in the first quarter at the UW 12-yard line, leading to MSU’s first touchdown of the game; and then on Wisconsin’s second possession in overtime, forced a fumble, and MSU won game on next series . . . was named the Bronko Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Badgers . . . became the first Spartan to record double-digit tackles, an interception and a forced fumble in the same game since Joe Bachie in 2017 at Michigan . . . started Ohio State game and had three tackles with 0.5 TFL in playing 41 snaps . . . was starting defensive end at Maryland, posting three tackles and one pass break-up in 53 defensive snaps . . . started Minnesota game at defensive end and logged a forced fumble to go with five tackles, including 1.5 TFL (5 yards) . . . was starting defensive end in game at Washington, tallying three tackles . . . in Week 2 against Akron, forced three fumbles, the most by a Spartan since Joe Bachie against Maryland in 2018, and also recorded 2.5 tackles for loss (17 yards) and 1.5 sacks (14 yards), broke up a pass, and recovered a fumble while collecting five stops overall . . . named the Walter Camp Football Foundation National Defensive Player of the Week, along with the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week and the Senior Bowl National Defensive Player of the Week for his spectacular debut performance as a Spartan against Western Michigan, recording a career-high four sacks (17 yards), including a forced fumble, and had seven tackles overall while starting at defensive end . . . the four sacks tied for the second most in school history (school record: five by Travis Davis vs. Ohio State in 1987) and were the most sacks in a game by a Spartan since 2003.
2021 SEASON (JUNIOR AT UNLV): Led UNLV, ranked third in the Mountain West and 13th in the FBS with 119 total tackles . . . also led the Rebels and ranked tied for 12th in the Mountain West with 6.5 sacks (41 yards) . . . ranked third in the Mountain West and tied for 12th in the FBS in tackles/game (9.92), as well as tied for third in the MW and tied for seventh in the FBS in solo stops (72), adding 47 assists . . . the 6.5 sacks were the most by a UNLV player since 2011, while the 118 tackles were the most by a Rebel since 2012 . . . also added 11.5 tackles for loss (52 yards), which led team and ranked 13th in the MW . . . added two forced fumbles and one pass break-up in starting all 12 games played . . . saw action on 795 defensive snaps, most on the team by 96 snaps . . . registered highlight-game in penultimate outing in UNLV uniform with a career-high three QB sacks vs. San Diego State, the fourth-most in UNLV single-season history, finishing with 12 tackles . . . had five double-digit tackle outings, highlighted by career-high 16 stops twice (vs. Utah State, 10/16; at Air Force, 11/26), including double-figures in three of last four games of season . . . had at least 1.0 tackle for loss in six games.
2020 SEASON (SOPHOMORE AT UNLV): Earned honorable mention All-Mountain West honors after starting all six games on the defensive line . . . led the Rebels in quarterback sacks with five and his sacks-per-game average of .83 tied for fifth in the MW and 18th in the nation . . . finished second on the team with 39 total tackles and added two pass breakups and a forced fumble vs. San Jose State . . . played a total of 401 defensive snaps . . . twice posted a season-high nine total tackles (at SDSU and vs. Fresno State) . . . also posted eight takedowns at San Jose State.
2019 SEASON (FRESHMAN AT UNLV): Earned his first letter as a Rebel by playing in all 12 games . . . played a total of 131 defensive snaps . . . made his first collegiate start in the season-opener vs. Southern Utah, filling in for starter Gabe McCoy at the Buck position . . . finished with 12 total tackles, including one TFL … also added a pass breakup.

Was a December 2018 early graduate of John Ehret High School in New Orleans, where he was a two-year letterwinner for Coach Marcus Scott . . . played several positions for the Patriots, including quarterback, wide receiver, tight end, H-back and defensive line . . . also played basketball as a freshman and sophomore . . . last name is pronounced “WIND-min” . . . goes by “Coby” . . . son of Iriemme Windmon and Terrance Dumas . . . has four older siblings . . . two-time UNLV Dean’s Honor List selection, in fall 2020 and spring 2021, majoring in human services . . . human development and family studies major.
